Roberti: "San Luigi is a cornerstone of regional sport."

A celebration for the entire Friuli Venezia Giulia region. This is how Regional Councilor for Local Authorities Pierpaolo Roberti described San Luigi's return to Serie D, speaking at the official presentation of the club, winner of last year's Eccellenza championship. The green-and-whites' presence in the upcoming interregional tournament is a source of pride not only for the city of Trieste, but for the entire region.

During the meeting, it was recalled that the Fedriga administration has invested over 400,000 euros to upgrade the pitch owned by the club chaired by Ezio Peruzzo.

In addition to the satisfaction of returning to Serie D, San Luigi has also been able to boast an important new collaboration in recent months: since last July 1st, the Trieste-based club has become part of the Juventus Academy in Italy.
